"The engineer (James) had the vision to identify what has been needed for my property and assisted me with recommending a series of ongoing upgrades for the electrical and security systems on the project. The electrician was very open & honest about what did need to upgrade and what I didn’t and worked alongside me to keep the project within my budget and the timescales. He was very dependable, resourceful and worked in a real tidy manner! Recommended without reservation."

After learning a previous electrician had made some errors in intalling a new fuse board and a cooker hood, my husband and I did an extremely careful search for someone to put the work right. We had a few quotes, but ultimately went with Jim at SLJ. He was quick to come out, very professional, and easily identified the issues. Not only that, he explained things carefully (there's a fine balance when a tradesman speaks to a regular person--Jim has mastered that. He was able to give me the information I needed without it being too technical or too simplistic.) He got me a quote and we agreed a work date. On the day, Jim sent out another electrician, Adam, and then joined him later. They actually uncovered a few extra issues (as you do) and went above and beyond to ensure they were leaving my house perfectly safe with all issues resolved. Both were very kind, very professional, and they went out of their way to keep the house tidy, despite having to do some messy work. I feel very good about the work they did and wouldn't hesitate to ring them again. I'd also recommend them to anyone else. All around, really great job.

Called out SLJ on a Sunday.. electric continually tripping out. Very polite on the phone, asked a few questions then told me he could be here within half an hour.. had a look around and diagnosed the fault pretty quickly and fixed the issue. Extremely friendly 5* Extremely professional 5* Extremely reasonable 5* Would definitely recommend and will be the first number I call for any future electrical work
